11th year Serve Day is Saturday, May 20, 2023. Join us!
Oh, the wonderful memories! 2016 Photos below ... just a few!
Serve. Gather. Improve.
What began as a dream and a discussion, once again came to fruition, as hundreds of great hearted volunteers served Rockford, Greenfield and the surrounding communities in a single day of service! The volunteers who gave of their time represented and included members of the business community, Rockford Area Schools, church groups, civic groups, Boys and Girl Scouts, non-profits, governmental agencies and many agencies from the medical community all joined together to have a major impact on a single day in our area.
The dream is to impact our area by addressing “people needs” in these areas: Hunger, Health, and Habitation
It was absolutely amazing what happened in our area in a single day through the efforts of our volunteers! Thank you to all who served: project managers, donors, task force members, and all those who served the community, many of whom were behind the scenes.
Thousand Hearts Serve Day began as a vision to give one day of service to our community by enlisting many hands and hearts. We are so grateful to all of you for making this day happen! Please help us thank all of those that have embraced and blessed this vision.
